I am passionate about my work and feel fortunate to be able to work with some of the most talented and dedicated people in our community.
This is my third year as an administrator in the Waukee Community School District and 20th year in education. These experiences have included teaching preschool, first, and second grade. I also had the opportunity to be an instructional coach and instructional mentor for eight years as well.
My educational experience began in 1999, as I am a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with degrees in both elementary and early childhood education. I received my reading endorsement, graduate degree, and principal licensure from Viterbo University, where I also studied Educational Leadership.
